Here at KentEndo all our dentists have trained to a Master’s degree level in endodontics or are training to acquire specialist status from one of the world’s leading academic centres for dentistry.
In this month’s blog the team at Kent Endo look to provide you with a bit more information about our fantastic dentists.
Monika Sharma
Dentist BDS, MFDS RCS Eng, MSc (Endo)
GDC Registration No. 83781
Monika qualified from King’s College London in 2004, following which she worked as a vocational trainee in an NHS practice in South London. She then undertook two years as a Senior House Officer in Restorative, Paediatric and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery departments. In 2007 Monika gained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons England (MFDS). She was awarded a distinction in her MSc in Endodontics in 2011 from the Eastman Dental Institute. She divides her time between working as a Speciality Doctor at the Eastman Dental Institute treating patients, and Endodontic referral practice.
Gavin Seal

Gavin graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1991. Following this he worked in general practice in Surrey for 7 years. He developed an avid interest in Endodontics which led to him completing a full time Masters degree in Endodontics in 1999 from the Eastman Dental Institute. Gavin has over 20 years of experience in practice dedicated to Endodontics. He has worked in prestigious West End and City dental practices. Gavin is a current member of the British Endodontic Society and he previously was secretary for the Dental Society of London.
Omar Tarmohamed
Dentist BDS (Ncl) Dip.MJDF

Omar qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Newcastle University with Merit. Following graduation, he returned to the South East to pursue postgraduate training, gaining valuable experience in both hospital-based Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Dental Practice. He successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics and is currently undertaking Specialist Training, including a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry, at King’s College London. Omar’s practice is now exclusively dedicated to referral Endodontics, providing treatment at King’s College Hospital and in private practice.
Maryam Butt
Dentist BDS (Hons)

Maryam graduated with honours from King’s College London. She initially worked as a General Dentist before pursuing further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University College London Hospital. She obtained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics at King’s College London, with the aim of becoming a GDC-registered Specialist Endodontist.
Aisha Ur Rehman
Dentist BDS, BSc, MSc (Endo)

Aisha qualified as a Dentist from King’s College London after studying Biomedical Science prior to this. She worked in private practice in South London. After a few years in practice, she developed an interest in Endodontics which led her to undertake a three-year MSc in Endodontics at Queen Mary’s University, London. Aisha sees patients forendodontic treatment on a referralbasis and is a member of the British Endodontic Society and the European Society of Endodontics.
Farnam Pourreza-Jorshari
Dentist BDS (Newcastle), PGDip Endodontics (UCL)

Farnam Pourreza-Jorshari graduated from Newcastle Dental School with Merit in Clinical Dentistry. He was awarded numerous awards for his strong examination performances, including the Pears Exhibition Medal, the Arthur Darling Medal, and the prestigious Academic Excellence Scholarship. He has spent the last few years in general dental practice, regularly attending courses to enhance his clinical skills. Farnam was awarded a postgraduate diploma in Endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute, and is currently undertaking specialist training in Endodontology at King’s College London.
Temi Ajimoko
Dentist BDS, PgDip (Endo), MJDF RCS (Eng), MClinDent (Endo), MEndo RCS (Eng)
GDC Registration No. 177872
Temi qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2009and is an experienced practitioner with over a decade in endodontic referral practice. He has multiple endodontic qualifications, culminating in award of the Membership in Endodontics (MEndo) qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons England, considered the highest possible qualification in the field.
Tulsi Patel
Dentist BDS (Sheffield), MFDS RCS
GDC Registration No. 278331
Tulsi graduated from the University of Sheffield, with Honours. She was awarded membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow in 2020.After qualifying, she worked in general practice and carried out further hospital training in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Dental Hospital. Tulsi is currently in the process of completing specialist training in Endodontics at King’s College London. She divides her time between working in practice limited to Endodontics and King’s Hospital where she takes on more complex endodontic cases.
